FAQ

It’s always a good idea to read this below, if this doesn’t answer your question give us a call and we will be happy to assist.  We get a lot of calls and most of them can be answered here:

  • Chevron down Reservations
  • We highly recommend you make a reservation online.  If you don’t reserve we can’t guarantee your ticket.  We also have a 24 hour cancellation/reschedule policy.  If you don’t give us 24 hours notice that you can’t make your scheduled trip, you will be charged the full amount of the reservation. We accept Visa – Mastercard – Discovery – American Express for booking.

  • Chevron down Arrival
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.  Allow plenty of travel time because traffic is rather heavy in the summer time, especially during festivals.  We are Located at the Holiday Inn Resort, known as West Bay Beach.  

  • Chevron down Parking
  • Since we are located on the property of the West Bay Beach, a Holiday Inn Resort you can park there for free.   We are a block from downtown so you can walk along the T.A.R.T. which takes you along the bay to the marina safely.  Lots of parking all over town!

  • Chevron down Tickets
  • Everyone must stop at the ticket booth to either check-in or pick-up tickets.  You can not just walk past the booth and expect to get aboard.  We confirm your reservation and then we give you a ticket to board.  You’re more than welcome to bring food, but we ask you not to bring beverages due to the Liquor License.   

  • Chevron down Boarding
  • We board 5 minutes prior scheduled time and ask that you to wait until then on the patio.  We are unloading, restocking, cleaning, and preparing for your cruise so if the passengers stay off the dock until we board, it makes it safer for everyone.  If you have a disability, notify the booth attendee and we will board you sooner.

    If you have a beverage from the Holiday Inn bar, you need to finish by the time you step foot on the ship.  

  • Chevron down Weather
  • The weather in Traverse City is always changing, in fact we have a saying “If you don’t like the weather, wait 10 minutes.”  Most of the time, the local weather is predicting 30% showers and they never happen, so don’t listen to the local weather.  If you have concerns, call us and our experienced staff can tell you up to date weather.
